All-Natural Holiday Pecan Pie Recipe

Make a homemade pecan pie this Thanksgiving, or well, any season that's easy as... well, pie. Just mix, pour, and bake with this no-hassle recipe for spiked pecan pie. It's all-natural for a delicious--and wholesome--holiday dessert. Enjoy!
Makes 1 pie
Cook time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
1 9-inch pie crust
3 organic eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup  organic toasted halved pecans
1 cup dark organic maple syrup
½ cup molasses
3 tablespoons organic melted butter
2 tablespoons organic whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon of organic apple juice
Method
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place pie shell in pie pan on a baking sheet.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well to combine. Pour filling into prepared pie shell. Bake until crust is golden and pie has puffed slightly, about 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove pie from oven; cool on a wire rack until set. Serve warm with whipped cream of choice.

Enjoy!!!! And remember- Don't eat a ton, because its wheat/bread, so its bad!!!!

Hi!

Hey guys,
I FINALLY got a comment from Abbie and this is what she said:
If you dont like veggies, you can chop them up, and put them under the cheese of a pizza, you cant even taste them!!! Also, did you know that if you eat 1 small peice of REAL dark chocolate once a day it is good for you??!!! And, although you might not want to be fat, there is such thing as being too skinny! Although it might make u look good, it is VERY unhealthy. An average 4th grade girl should way between 55-75 pounds, and a 5th grade girl should way between 65-85. Thats all for today!!!
Bye!

Todays Post: Recipe

  • Scoop out the inside of one baked potato and put in bowl
  • Add vegetables like green and red bell peppers (about 1-3 TBL)
  • Add 1 TBL cheese
  • Add 1 egg to hold it altogether.
  • Roll the mixture into a ball, and cook it on the grill (Ask your mom or dad to help/supervize you!)
  • Optional: Top with pizza sauce and some part mozzarella.
This makes a quick and healthy lunch when you use leftover baked potatoes.  So don’t let your mom toss those out! Make them into pizzas!
